Breeding History

Founded from Mugundawa Dorset Horn Stud, the current Mugundawa Poll Dorset stud was originally established in 1964. We are stud flock no. 793 and are currently mating around 370 ewes.

Newbold 27/19:

Genomics. Ideally suited to produce trade lambs. BWT 0.08, WWT 10.57, PWT 16.1, PEMD 3.28 (Top 10%), PFAT 0.52, TCP 141.1. Top price ram purchased at their annual sale for $20 000. A son of leading sire Marocara 49/15. His progeny are early maturing, have good back ends, are easy doing and with good skins. They are low birth weight and well-muscled.
